The Viewtech Programmable Radar Sensor VTR8M is a heavy duty radar object detection sensor with 3 detection zones.
It is built of high quality polycarbonate and certified to IP69K ensuring correct operation in all weather conditions.
The sensor comes with an in-cab LED display for driver warning. It uses FMCW (Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) technology to effectively determine objects behind the vehicle. This ensures a detection time of under 200ms.
